This role allows you to apply your photography skills within the dynamic real estate industry, capturing high-quality photos, videos, and Zillow's innovative 3D interactive floor plans to professionally market listings for real estate agents. By joining us, you'll be at the forefront of Real Estate media innovation, producing media that genuinely resonates with consumers actively shopping for homes. Real Estate Media Photographer at Zillow Media Experts will be responsible for driving between various job sites within their designated market area, efficiently capturing media, and successfully culling and uploading all content.

About The Role

This is a part-time position based in Nashville, TN. Real Estate Media Photographers in this role typically work between 10-20 hours per week, with actual hours dependent on their specific location and prevailing business needs. During periods of high demand, there may be occasional requests to work more than 20 hours per week. While initially a part-time opportunity, there may be avenues for future full-time employment.

As a Real Estate Media Photographer supporting Zillow Media Experts and our Listing Media Services, you will:

  • Capture industry-leading, professional still photography, listing videos, 3D or 360° virtual tours, drone photography & videos (as business needs dictate), and social media videos for properties listed for sale or rent.
  • Utilize advanced photography techniques and specialized equipment to effectively showcase the unique features and aesthetic appeal of each property, enabling sellers and real estate agents to present their listings in the most favorable light.
  • Coordinate and interact directly with clients on-site to thoroughly understand their specific photography requirements and expectations.
  • Provide expert guidance and clear direction to clients and property owners during photography sessions to achieve desired visual outcomes and maximize the impact of the images.
  • Leverage cutting-edge proprietary technology to create captivating and rich media experiences.
  • Ensure that all captured photographs strictly adhere to Zillow's brand guidelines and accurately and attractively represent the properties.
  • Manage and meticulously maintain photography equipment, including cameras, lenses, and accessories, to guarantee optimal performance and reliability.
  • Organize and upload all captured media promptly for post-processing, consistently meeting all deadlines, maintaining appointment punctuality, and adhering to availability guidelines.
  • Stay continuously updated on current industry trends and best practices in real estate photography to foster ongoing skill improvement and technique refinement.
  • Develop creative concepts and innovative ideas for photography to effectively highlight the unique selling points of each property.
  • Collaborate effectively with various team members, including Regional Managers, Market Leaders, and fellow photographers, as well as external partners such as real estate agents and marketing professionals, to deliver cohesive visual assets for comprehensive marketing campaigns and promotional materials.
  • Adapt seamlessly to future changes in media formats, product offerings, service enhancements, capture methodologies, or processing techniques.
  • Represent Zillow Media Experts with the utmost professionalism at all times.

This role has been classified as a Field position. Employees designated as "Field" perform the majority of their work in a specific geographic location defined by their management team. Employees are expected to reside within a reasonable commuting distance to their assigned region and/or service area. Zillow Group has not explicitly defined what constitutes a "reasonable distance" and expects employees to use their own judgment in this determination, understanding the implications concerning time commitment and the cost associated with daily commutes.
