About The Role
As a Federal Government Relations Manager based in the Washington, D.C. region, you will shape Zillow’s engagement with federal policymakers and industry leaders. You will drive advocacy strategies, cultivate bipartisan relationships, and translate complex policy issues into actionable guidance to support innovative solutions in housing and finance.
You Will Get To
- Execute proactive government relations strategies on key federal issues.
- Build trusted relationships with the executive branch, Congress, and trade associations.
- Enhance Zillow’s presence on Capitol Hill and gather critical policy information.
- Collaborate with internal teams to drive policy solutions and strategic partnerships.
- Coordinate federal contract lobbying consultants and travel about 10–20% as required.
Who You Are
You have a Bachelor's degree and 5–7 years of experience in federal government relations. You bring direct lobbying experience and a proven ability to build bipartisan relationships. Your familiarity with housing, consumer finance, digital economy, and technology policy issues supports your capacity to quickly learn, think strategically, and operate with discretion.
