Position Overview: IT Desktop Support Executive

We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Level 2 IT Desktop Support Executive to join our IT support team at Zigsaw. The ideal candidate will provide advanced technical support for desktop systems, email configuration, and printer setup. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, critical thinking, and the ability to assist users with varying levels of technical knowledge.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 2 support for Windows desktops and laptops (hardware & software)
  • Configure, troubleshoot, and support Microsoft Outlook, Exchange / IMAP email accounts, and mobile email setup
  • Use critical thinking and logical probing to identify root causes of issues
  • Deliver remote support to end-users with different levels of technical proficiency
  • Assist users with patience and empathy, especially non-technical users
  • Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions in the ticketing system
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve systemic issues
  • Ensure adherence to IT policies, processes, and security standards

Required Skill Set

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in IT Desktop Support or Level 2 Technical Support
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, MS Office, and common desktop applications
  • Hands-on experience with email client configuration and email protocols
  • Proficient in network printer setup, print server management, and troubleshooting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially with non-technical users
  • Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
