The DevOps & Cloud Engineer role involves working on innovative financial technology projects that combine domain expertise with cutting-edge tools. This role offers hands-on experience building real-world systems through project-based work in a FinTech startup environment.Assigned Projects
Interns will work on four core projects during the programme:- Design and deliver a production-grade, zero-downtime CI/CD pipeline
- Design and deliver a complete multi-region disaster recovery
- Design, build, and deliver a comprehensive Infrastructure Cost Optimisation and FinOps Framework
- Design and deliver a production-grade, security-hardened Kubernetes platform
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver a production-grade, zero-downtime CI/CD pipeline architecture for NovaPay Digital Bank, including eight canonical pipeline stages, blue-green and canary deployment strategies, and automated compliance gates mapped to RBI Master Direction and PCI-DSS v4.
- Design and deliver a complete multi-region disaster recovery architecture for PaySecure Gateway.
- Design, build, and deliver a comprehensive Infrastructure Cost Optimisation and FinOps Framework for LendFlow Technologies, achieving a minimum 33% cost reduction without degrading performance or breaching compliance boundaries.
- Design and deliver a production-grade, security-hardened Kubernetes platform for FinServ Digital, implementing zero-trust network policies, least-privilege RBAC, HashiCorp Vault, Falco runtime detection, and full PCI-DSS Level 1 compliance.
Eligibility
Students enrolled in High School, Undergraduate, Postgraduate, or MBA programs from ANY academic discipline, or fresh graduates from any field. No prior work experience required. Self-motivated learners with an interest in FinTech and financial markets.Qualifications
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and DevSecOps principles.
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as PCI-DSS, RBI IT Framework, or SOC 2.
- Interest in FinOps, disaster recovery architecture, and platform reliability engineering.
