About the Role

Zero Latency Ottawa is looking for a VR Game Master who loves gaming, tech, and high-energy customer experiences. In this role, you will be the face of the experience, guiding players through Free-Roam Virtual Reality sessions while ensuring safety and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers, check-in, suit-up and suit-down players.
  • Deliver clear and confident player safety briefings.
  • Manage game sessions and ensure player safety throughout.
  • Troubleshoot, record technical issues and perform basic VR equipment maintenance.
  • Support team coordination during busy periods and assist site leaders.
  • Sell merchandise and answer customer queries confidently.
  • Open and close the venue following scheduled timings.

Who You Are

You have 2+ years of customer experience in entertainment/hospitality, can remain calm under pressure, and have strong presentation skills. You are comfortable managing both small and larger teams while working towards individual and team KPIs. A passion for VR, gaming, and technology is essential.

Working Hours

This casual role averages ~15 hours per week, primarily during weeknights and weekends. Flexibility is a must.
