- Conduct research on cloud security threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices across cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Support SIEM and SOC research, including identifying log sources, building detection use cases, and improving monitoring pipelines.
- Assist in analyzing cloud logs and security telemetry to identify anomalies and potential threats.
- Research and develop AI-assisted security automation using Agentic AI workflows.
- Explore and implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) based knowledge systems for security documentation, threat intelligence, and incident response support.
- Build or prototype security automation workflows using tools like n8n.
- Contribute to security tooling and integrations within CI/CD pipelines.
- Assist in infrastructure security reviews, identifying misconfigurations and security gaps.
- Develop scripts or tools using Python or similar languages for automation and analysis.
- Document research findings, security detections, and technical recommendations.
Are you who we're searching for?
We are looking for Research Interns in Cloud Security Engineering who are passionate about cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, AI-driven security automation, and security operations. This role focuses on security research, SIEM/SOC improvements, AI-assisted security workflows, and cloud security automation to help strengthen the organization’s security posture. Interns will work closely with the Cloud Security and Security Engineering teams to research emerging threats, improve detection capabilities, and explore AI-driven security automation using Agentic AI workflows, RAG systems, and automation tools like n8n.Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, AI, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Familiarity with Linux, networking, and system security fundamentals.
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity concepts such as IAM, logging, threat detection, and monitoring.
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to SIEM platforms (Wazuh, ELK, OpenSearch, or similar).
- Understanding of SOC workflows and security monitoring.
- Familiarity with Python, Bash, or scripting for automation.
- Basic knowledge of Agentic AI frameworks, LLM applications, or AI-based automation.
- Exposure to RAG architectures or knowledge retrieval systems.
- Experience with automation tools such as n8n, Zapier, or similar workflow tools.
- Understanding of cloud security, container security, or infrastructure security.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, or DevOps tooling is a plus.
