We are looking for a Technical Writer to join us full-time and play a key role in shaping the future of developer education in the scraping ecosystem.

The Role of a Technical Writer at ZenRows

ZenRows is seeking a Technical Writer who is passionate about building best-in-class technical content for developers.

You will join our fully remote Growth Team and take ownership of our technical content strategy and execution. This is a highly autonomous role where you’ll have the opportunity to shape direction, experiment with formats, and contribute directly to company growth.

Your mission: Help make ZenRows a leading educational resource for web scraping.

What You’ll Do

• Write high-quality web scraping tutorials (Python, Node.js, and more)
• Develop and improve technical documentation for a global developer audience
• Create content across multiple platforms (blog, landing pages, GitHub, developer microsites)
• Update and optimize existing content to maintain accuracy and quality
• Publish comparison guides, conceptual explainers, and deep-dive technical articles
• Collaborate with SEO, Customer Success, Product, and Growth teams
• Proactively propose and validate new content ideas
• Optimize content for discoverability across search engines and AI-powered tools
• Track performance metrics (traffic, engagement, conversions) and iterate based on data
• Contribute to video-based educational content (optional / nice to have)

The Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for someone who builds and writes — not just documents.

You likely:

• Have built projects using Python or Node.js
• Understand web scraping fundamentals
• Have 3+ years of experience in technical writing or developer-focused content
• Can clearly explain complex technical topics
• Are comfortable learning additional languages when needed
• Write with clarity and precision in English (English is our working language)
• Are organized, detail-oriented, and self-directed
• Thrive in a high-autonomy, remote-first environment
• Understand how modern search and AI systems surface content
• Use data (Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs) to guide editorial decisions

Bonus Points

• Experience creating technical video content
• Background in SaaS or developer-focused companies
• Knowledge of SEO fundamentals
• Experience using scraping tools, APIs, or automation frameworks
