About The Role
As a Senior Vice President, Health & Wellness at Zeno Group, you will lead multiple integrated communications accounts spanning biotech, consumer health, and medical devices. You will serve as a trusted counselor to clients, providing strategic guidance and fostering long-term partnerships through a deep understanding of their business, products, markets, and industry influencers.
You are a proactive, solutions-oriented leader who brings both strategic rigor and a strong commercial instinct, consistently identifying opportunities to grow business, elevate work, and deliver meaningful impact. In addition, you will mentor and lead teams, helping them grow and perform at their best every day.
Responsibilities
- Balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, leaning in where needed to drive momentum and deliver excellence.
- Demonstrate advanced strategic thinking, supporting recommendations with data-driven insights and clear rationale.
- Bring an entrepreneurial, proactive mindset—consistently identifying opportunities to expand scope, add value, and grow client relationships.
- Play a key role in the growth of the Health & Wellness portfolio by expanding existing client relationships and contributing to new business initiatives, including pitches and proposals.
- Lead with a collaborative spirit—no job is too big or too small when it comes to delivering for clients and teams.
- Serve as a trusted client counselor with deep industry knowledge, driving measurable results and long-term partnerships.
- Embody Zeno’s values, fostering a culture of integrity, innovation, and inclusion.
- Build and lead high-performing teams, cultivating a culture of accountability, creativity, and continuous learning.
- Provide strategic counsel within a complex and regulated healthcare landscape, ensuring alignment with client goals and industry standards.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration across disciplines and geographies to ensure seamless execution and shared success.
About You
- 15+ years of experience in a PR agency or similar environment.
- 8+ years of experience in Health & Wellness Communications.
- Proven success leading clients in the healthcare/health + wellness space, with deep experience navigating regulated environments.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and drive organic growth opportunities within client relationships, with experience supporting new business efforts.
- Deep understanding of the biotech, pharmaceutical, and consumer health landscapes, including emerging trends and market dynamics.
- Ability to synthesize complex scientific and regulatory information into clear, actionable strategies.
- Strong commercial acumen, with experience managing budgets, forecasting revenue, and contributing to business growth.
- Excellent communication skills to lead and motivate teams and serve as a trusted client counselor.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Highly organized and adept at managing shifting priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proven history of leading teams, developing talent, and fostering a high-performance culture.
- Excellent presentation skills, with experience developing and delivering strategic recommendations to senior client stakeholders and in pitch environments.
- Experience leading fully integrated teams across disciplines and geographies; integrated marketing background strongly desired.

Pay Range: $170,000 to $190,000 CAD/yr.
