Mid QA Engineer

The Role

Our client, a leading consumer healthcare navigation and care coordination company, seeks a Mid QA Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role is crucial for ensuring seamless integration and communication between various data teams through the API layer, delivering an unparalleled consumer experience and high satisfaction rates for self-insured employer clients.

What you will do

• Collaborate on Test Strategy: Work with fellow QA engineers to define robust test strategies and approaches.
• Design Comprehensive Tests: Create detailed test cases and maintain regression packs to ensure thorough test coverage.
• Perform Diverse Testing: Engage in manual and exploratory testing, validating new endpoints, flows, edge cases, and error handling.
• Automate API Testing: Design, implement, and maintain API test automation solutions using Typescript/JavaScript.

Requirements

• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript & Test Automation: Demonstrate expertise in these critical areas.
• Performance Testing Experience: Proven experience with tools like Gatling, JMeter, or similar.
• Experience with at least one of the following tools: Appium, Detox, Maestro API Test Automation Proficiency: Solid background in automating API tests.
• Deep Understanding of Web Protocols: Familiarity with HTTP/REST, ideally GraphQL/gRPC, including caching, status codes, headers, pagination, and idempotency.
