The Role

As a Senior Product Designer, you will shape the user experience for complex, developer-focused tools within the API and DevOps ecosystem. You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and researchers to turn intricate workflows into elegant, intuitive, and efficient design solutions trusted by some of the world’s largest enterprises. This role involves working on API orchestration, deployment automation, and service governance solutions.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead design initiatives from discovery to delivery.
  • Translate technical concepts into clean, accessible experiences.
  • Collaborate with PMs and engineers on product requirements.
  • Conduct user research, prototype testing, and usability reviews.
  • Create design systems and scalable interface patterns.
  • Mentor designers and promote high design quality.
  • Stay updated on emerging UX patterns for DevOps and API platforms.

What We’re Looking For

  • 7+ years of product design experience, preferably in developer tools, DevOps, APIs, or infrastructure software.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing UX and UI work for complex technical platforms.
  • Experience with data-heavy and workflow-based interfaces.
  • Fluency in Figma (or similar) and experience with design systems.
  • Deep understanding of information architecture, usability, and accessibility principles.
  • Ability to collaborate with engineers within technical constraints.
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting design rationale.
  • Experience working in fast-moving, agile, and cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with API management, CI/CD, DevOps automation, or cloud-native platforms.
  • Experience in designing developer experiences or command-line/terminal-based tools.
  • Exposure to AI-assisted or intelligent automation workflows.
  • Knowledge of data visualization or system observability design patterns.
  • Background in B2B SaaS or multi-user technical platforms.
