Role Description
This is a part-time, remote role for a SAT English Tutor. The tutor will deliver high-quality SAT English lessons to individual students and small groups through virtual platforms, providing personalized guidance to enhance grammar, reading, and comprehension skills. The role involves creating tailored lesson plans, providing feedback on assignments and practice tests, and helping students develop strategies to excel in the English section of standardized tests. The SAT English Tutor will also communicate effectively with students to boost their confidence and ensure measurable progress in exam preparation.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in English Teaching, Online Tutoring, and general Tutoring
- Proficient understanding of English Grammar and the ability to break down complex concepts
- Exceptional Communication skills to engage students and explain topics clearly
- Demonstrated ability to develop customized lesson plans and provide constructive feedback
- Familiarity with the SAT format, strategies, and requirements
- Proficiency with online teaching platforms and tools
- A Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field
- Prior experience tutoring for standardized tests, especially SAT, is preferred
- A passion for teaching, mentoring, and inspiring students to excel academically
