About the Revenue Zone

Zapier’s Revenue Zone is where product meets payments, offering customers a seamless experience with Zapier’s value. This includes plan selection, subscription management, and usage tracking, all designed to be effortless, transparent, and trustworthy.

We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer, Revenue Zone to help build and evolve the critical infrastructure behind these customer interactions. You will work on systems powering billing, payments, plan selection, and usage tracking, playing a vital role in ensuring these experiences are reliable, flexible, and user-friendly.

The Revenue Zone is responsible for Zapier's packaging, pricing, and purchasing mechanisms, and their evolution alongside our customers.

Our Cross-functional Teams

The Revenue Zone operates across two specialized cross-functional teams:

• Team Payments: Focuses on building systems for billing, invoicing, subscription management, and payment processing, ensuring customers can reliably pay for Zapier.
• Team Catalog: Manages how pricing is presented, helps customers choose the right plan, and supports internal tools for packaging and offers.

Together, these teams build and maintain infrastructure for pricing, payments, subscriptions, and customer account visibility, prioritizing reliability, performance, and clarity.

As a Full Stack Engineer in the Revenue Zone, you will:

• Build and maintain pricing and plan selection UIs.
• Develop backend services that manage subscriptions, usage tracking, and payment flows.
• Collaborate with design, product, and data teams to deliver performant, user-centered experiences.
• Work across the stack to modernize legacy systems and improve platform scalability.
• Help define new interfaces between systems, such as billing APIs, pricing engines, entitlements, and plan change workflows.

About You

We are seeking experienced full stack engineers with:

• 5+ years of experience building and maintaining production web applications.
• Strong knowledge in JavaScript/TypeScript and React, with experience building responsive interfaces.
• Solid experience building backend APIs with Python (Django preferred).
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Redis, and cloud environments like AWS.
• Experience integrating with payment systems, third-party APIs, or billing platforms is a plus.
• A value for collaboration, pairing, and async communication in a remote team environment.
• A customer-focused approach, caring about solving real problems and creating great experiences for internal and external users.
• A love for learning and curiosity about ambiguous or novel problems, comfortable asking questions and digging in.
• Experience using AI tooling for work or personal use, or a willingness to quickly dive in and learn, exploring new tools and workflows for efficiency.
