Role Overview
The Engineering Manager Cloud will lead Zapier’s cloud team. You will manage AWS account management, cloud architecture, networking, infrastructure-as-code, and cost governance to support our growing user base.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers and SREs.
- Oversee AWS account management and Terraform deployments.
- Design and optimize cloud architecture and networking.
- Manage cost and capacity planning to optimize spend.
- Collaborate with product teams including integration with Vercel deployments.
- Drive continuous improvement in engineering practices including automation, monitoring, incident response, and security compliance.
About You
You have proven experience managing engineering teams in a remote setting, a strong background in AWS and Terraform, and expertise in cloud architecture, networking, and cost management. Excellent leadership and communication skills are essential.
