THE ROLE & THE TEAM

Join us to build the next-generation solution to monitor assortment performance and identify poorly performing products or bad actors.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

• Contribute to team roadmaps with product managers and engineers.
• Conceptualize, prototype, and productionize anomaly detection systems.
• Identify root causes and develop solutions for complex issues.
• Communicate technical details with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Own the complete development cycle from discovery to production.
• Iteratively improve models and explore new data sources.
• Build model pipelines and streamline analysis processes using tools like Python, R, Scala, SQL, PyTorch, and Tensorflow.

WHAT WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

• Master’s degree or above (PhD preferred) in a quantitative discipline.
• Strong foundation in machine learning methodologies; causal inference and econometrics a plus.
• At least 3 years of industry experience (or 1 year with a PhD) in anomaly detection and risk scoring.
• Extensive experience with Python and production quality coding.
• Familiarity with Databricks/Spark is a bonus.
• Excellent communication skills and a self-starter mindset.
• Ability to work independently and proactively resolve roadblocks.
