Senior Product Designer

YouGov is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join their Public Platform team, focusing on public-facing data websites. This role involves contributing professional input on complex assignments and projects, with a strong emphasis on leveraging AI as a strategic design partner. The successful candidate will use AI tools to accelerate iteration and exploration, applying human judgment to guide creative direction and ensure outputs meet user needs and business objectives.

What You'll Do

• Work autonomously on complex design challenges.
• Analyze and resolve complex design problems through in-depth evaluation of multiple variables.
• Develop and implement creative and effective design solutions that align with company objectives.
• Exercise sound judgment in evaluating, selecting, and adapting both standard and complex design techniques.
• Utilize in-depth professional knowledge to develop design models and procedures, while monitoring industry trends.
• Direct the application of existing design principles and contribute to new policy development.
• Adapt communication style and use persuasion effectively when delivering messages to different stakeholders.
• Integrate AI capabilities thoughtfully into your design process, using automation to enhance efficiency while maintaining creative ownership and ensuring all solutions are grounded in user empathy and strategic insight.
