Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and process-driven Assistant Manager, Export Documentation and Logistics to manage end-to-end export documentation and international shipment coordination. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth export operations, regulatory compliance, and timely delivery of shipments across global markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage complete export documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, shipping bills, bill of lading, certificate of origin, and other regulatory documents.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and country-specific documentation standards.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, CHA agents, shipping lines, and internal stakeholders for seamless shipment execution.
  • Track shipment schedules and proactively manage delays, discrepancies, or documentation issues.
  • Oversee Incoterms implementation and ensure correct freight, insurance, and logistics handling as per contractual agreements.
  • Maintain accurate records of export transactions, documentation, and logistics costs.
  • Work closely with the international sales team to ensure timely order processing and fulfillment.
  • Monitor export timelines and optimize logistics processes for cost efficiency and operational effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in export documentation and logistics, preferably in the FMCG industry.
  • Strong knowledge of export procedures, Incoterms, customs clearance, and international shipping processes.
  • Experience coordinating with freight forwarders and regulatory authorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP or similar platforms preferred).
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
