We’re looking for experienced M&A analysts who can evaluate complex acquisition scenarios, identify flawed assumptions, assess strategic rationale, and explain transaction mechanics with precision. You’ll challenge advanced language models on domain specific topics —to strengthen model reasoning in high-stakes finance contexts.
Your Profile
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in mergers and acquisitions, investment banking, corporate development, private equity, transaction advisory, or a closely related field.
- Significant hands-on work with financial modeling, including DCF analysis, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, merger models, and accretion/dilution analysis.
- Deep knowledge of M&A transaction processes, deal structuring, due diligence, valuation methodologies, financing considerations, and strategic rationale.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, enterprise value, equity value, working capital, purchase accounting, synergies, tax considerations, and shareholder impact.
- Proven experience evaluating complex business combinations, acquisition targets, transaction assumptions, and investment committee-style recommendations.
- Demonstrated experience in preparing, reviewing, or advising on transaction materials such as CIMs, management presentations, board materials, diligence reports, or investment memos.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field required; MBA, CFA, CPA, or relevant advanced credential preferred.
- Previous experience with AI data training, annotation, or evaluating AI-generated technical content is a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and refine AI model responses involving M&A analysis, valuation, transaction structuring, due diligence, and strategic finance.
- Review AI-generated prompts, model outputs, financial reasoning, assumptions, calculations, and written explanations for accuracy and professional quality.
- Identify errors in merger models, accretion/dilution logic, enterprise value calculations, purchase accounting, synergy assumptions, and financing structures.
- Provide structured feedback that explains why an answer is correct, incomplete, misleading, or analytically unsound.
- Design or review challenging M&A scenarios that test whether models can reason through real-world transaction complexity.
- Shape AI communication standards for finance-related responses, ensuring outputs are clear, precise, appropriately caveated, and suitable for professional users.
- Support benchmarking efforts by comparing AI-generated responses against expert-level financial analysis and transaction best practices.
- Review and refine AI-generated prompts and responses to improve consistency, factual accuracy, and analytical depth across M&A workflows.
