Position Overview
The YMCA of Greater Toronto is seeking passionate Child Care Educators for Supply, Part-Time Hourly, and Split Shift Salaried roles across multiple centres in the GTA. You will deliver child-centred programs according to the YMCA Playing to Learn (for ages 0-6) and YMCA Place to Connect (for ages 6-12) curricula.

What You Bring
Depending on the role you apply for, you will need to meet specific educational and registration requirements. Registered Early Childhood Educators require an Early Childhood Educator Diploma and registration in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators. Early Learning Facilitators should have relevant diplomas or degrees with proper registration. Early Childhood Assistants need a High School Diploma. Additional qualifications include Standard First Aid, CPR Level C certification, up-to-date immunizations, physical capability, flexibility, and a commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.
Work Hours and Employment Types
This role includes several work arrangements. For Supply positions, you must have at least three days availability (Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 6:00pm) and be ready for last minute shift requests. Part-Time Hourly roles require availability Monday to Friday, approximately 2:30-6:00pm. Split Shift Salaried positions demand morning (7:00-9:00am) and afternoon (2:00-6:00pm) shifts, with a guarantee of at least 30 hours per week along with a Full-Time benefit package. Both 10 Month and 12 Month positions are available with vacancies at multiple locations across the GTA.
