About the Role: Client Support Specialist

This role is designed for a junior professional to keep our Signals web app reliable for enterprise customers. You will manage inbound support tickets, troubleshoot issues using browser developer tools and basic SQL, ensure proper entitlements, run smoke tests, and contribute to documentation and product improvement projects.

Your Responsibilities

  • Monitor and triage inbound support tickets (Intercom/Jira).
  • Reproduce, debug, and resolve issues using dev tools and simple SQL.
  • Verify account settings and manage entitlement issues.
  • Conduct data quality checks following monthly updates.
  • Document support processes and contribute to knowledge base articles.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 0–2 years experience in product support or technical support.
  • Working knowledge of web apps, HTTP/REST, and JSON.
  • Basic SQL skills and comfort reading logs.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems such as Intercom and Jira.
  • Strong customer empathy and clear written communication.

Additional Plus

Experience with financial or analytics products, light scripting (Python/JS) for workflow automation, and ability to communicate analytics with non-technical audiences.

Compensation & Benefits

The anticipated annual on-target earnings range from approximately $115K to $130K. In addition to competitive salary, YipitData offers flexible work hours, generous benefits including 401K match, parental leave, wellness budget, learning reimbursement, and more.

Work Arrangement

This role is remote-friendly within the United States. You may work from NYC, one of our hubs (Austin, Miami, Denver, Mountain View, Seattle), or another US location. Please note, income may be subject to New York State tax withholding depending on your remote location.
