About SpendHound

SpendHound is a free software renewal management platform launched by YipitData. It provides companies a comprehensive view of software applications, contract details, renewal dates, and more, along with reminder notifications and expert procurement advice to save time and money on software renewals.

About the Role

The Business Development Associate (Sales Development Representative) will drive growth via outbound client engagement for SpendHound’s product suite in the Spend Management space. This role offers an entry path towards full end-to-end sales responsibilities.

  • Identify prospective opportunities using outbound communication channels (cold calling, emailing, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Generate interest and meetings from Finance, Operations, and IT leaders.
  • Utilize modern sales technology tools including Salesforce, Groove, Aircall, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo.
  • Collaborate with Sales Development Manager, Enablement Manager, and Head of Sales to refine messaging.
  • Progress your sales career while contributing to SpendHound's growth.

You Are Likely To Succeed If You

  • Have 1+ years in a high-velocity sales or SDR/BDR role.
  • Are proficient in business-level English and cold-calling in a US tech environment.
  • Exceed targets, are resourceful, and handle rejection well.
  • Possess high emotional intelligence, strong interpersonal skills, and a proactive mindset.
  • Are coachable with a positive outlook and sound judgment.

What We Offer

Our compensation package includes flexible work hours, generous vacation, 401K match, parental leave, team events, a wellness budget, learning reimbursement and more. The anticipated annual salary is up to $57,000 OTE ($45,000 base and $12,000 bonus potential). Note: Remote roles may have income subject to New York State tax withholding. Candidates requiring visa sponsorship will not be considered.
