About the role
Relationship Manager - Small Enterprises
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Relationship Manager (RM) to join our Small Enterprises (SE) team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing and managing a portfolio of clients with turnover up to ₹100 Cr, maintaining portfolio hygiene, and actively engaging in cross-selling financial products.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Acquisition (NTB): Source new-to-bank (NTB) clients in the small enterprise segment with turnover up to ₹100 Cr. Identify opportunities through market intelligence, references, and industry networking.
- Portfolio Management: Manage and deepen relationships with the existing client portfolio. Regular engagement with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Credit Note Preparation: Conduct financial analysis and prepare detailed credit notes for new and existing clients. Evaluate risk and structure proposals in line with bank’s credit policies.
- Sanction Process & Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with internal credit teams for proposal discussions and approvals. Effectively communicate with clients to understand their financial needs and ensure alignment with product offerings.
- Portfolio Hygiene: Ensure timely renewals, limit compliance, documentation, and monitoring of early warning signals. Maintain high asset quality and minimize delinquencies.
- Cross-Selling: Identify and capitalize on cross-selling opportunities across products like trade finance, treasury, cash management, insurance, and working capital solutions.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- 3-4 years of experience in corporate/SME/ME banking.
- Strong understanding of credit analysis and financial statements.
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills.
- Proven ability to drive business and manage risk effectively.
