Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain reliable services in production.
  • Build new infrastructure using AWS and GCP.
  • Define foundations for next-generation Yahoo products.
  • Plan and implement best-in-class software practices.
  • Collaborate with peers, product managers, and engineering leaders.

Qualifications

  • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Go, Javascript, etc.
  • Experience with modern front-end frameworks (React, Vue, Angular).
  • Expertise in architecting infrastructure in AWS.
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
  • Solid knowledge of RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks.
