The Opportunity: Field Sales Account Executive

Yahoo Ads is actively seeking a Field Sales Account Executive to join its UK/EMEA business. In this pivotal role, you will directly foster and manage business relationships with key Media Agencies and Clients, whilst driving Yahoo Ads revenue across the region. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience and established relationships across key UK Media Agencies and/or Client Direct accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and prioritise high-potential target clients across key media agencies, nurturing current key accounts and partnerships while fostering new business opportunities.
  • Develop and execute a robust sales strategy to meet or exceed revenue targets, championing the full Yahoo Ads proposition.
  • Craft custom client-led solutions utilizing Yahoo's entire suite of digital products, including Display, Video, Native, Content, and bespoke Creative Partnerships with their XR production studio.
  • Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients, from initial prospecting through contract execution and beyond, creating strategic long-term partnerships and joint business plans.
  • Lead and evangelize bespoke Go-To-Market (GTM) and thought leadership sessions with key clients.
  • Create and present compelling proposals that directly address the client’s specific business objectives and marketing challenges.
  • Collaborate closely with Yahoo's product, editorial, post-sales, and marketing teams to ensure that bespoke ad solutions are perfectly tailored to meet evolving client needs.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 4+ years of relevant professional experience in digital media sales.
  • Deep understanding of the digital media industry, including the ability to speak knowledgeably about market trends, insights, and client challenges.
  • Strong track record of success in consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong agency and client relationships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of articulating complex ideas and developing compelling, creative proposals.
  • Demonstrated experience presenting effectively to existing and prospective clients.
  • Ability to understand and strategically leverage data insights for client solutions.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, essential for managing multiple client relationships and sales opportunities simultaneously.
