In a context of strong growth of our Data & AI activities applied to the challenges of energy and environmental transition, we are strengthening our teams with a Data & AI Manager. This position is for you if you combine experience in consulting with technical expertise in Data & AI. From structuring a Data offering to the service's outreach, and from producing technical deliverables to supporting clients in their strategic and operational issues, you are capable of working on a wide range of missions.Your Missions
🎯 Consulting & Delivery
- Lead and supervise Data & AI consulting missions at our clients (scoping, steering, reporting), ensuring the quality, added value, and business impact of deliverables.
- Understand and analyze the business and strategic issues of clients (energy, energy transition, environment), and translate their needs into relevant Data solutions.
- Provide a senior consultant perspective: structuring of problems, recommendations, innovation in methodological approach.
- Intervene on technical topics when necessary: data analysis, modeling, and algorithms…
💼 Offer Development & Business Development
- Build, structure, and evolve the firm's Data & AI offering (presentations, methodologies, client discourse, internal organization).
- Actively participate in commercial development: opportunity detection, needs qualification, response to calls for tenders (CFT), writing commercial proposals and costing.
- Contribute to pitch and defense phases with clients, championing the firm's vision and positioning.
- Analyze market trends, client expectations, and competitor positioning to guide the service's strategy.
🤝 Management & Service Structuring
- Supervise, lead, and grow Data and AI teams (consultants, data scientists, data analysts, data engineers).
- Structure the service organization: roles, working methods, knowledge capitalization, internal projects.
- Support the development of teams' skills (coaching, mentoring, training), particularly in consulting postures and methods.
- Contribute to the recruitment and integration of new talents.
🌐 Outreach & Innovation
- Actively participate in the internal and external outreach of the Data & IA service (events, publications, feedback).
- Maintain a watch on Data & IA innovations (technical ecosystem and solutions; AI opportunities such as AI agents, reinforcement learning, or FinOps for AI; data governance; data & IA innovations with our clients) and their application to the energy sector.
Requirements
- You hold a degree from an engineering school, business school, or university in data science or a related field.
- You have at least 6 years of experience in Data, Analytics, or AI missions, with a significant portion in consulting.
- You master the challenges of consulting firms: understanding client issues, ability to scope missions, produce recommendations, and intervene at the client's site in a demanding environment.
- You have proven experience in offer development, responding to calls for tenders, and business development.
- You are capable of structuring an activity, organizing teams, and supporting the growth of a service.
- You are able to dive into lines of code without difficulty and interact with experts in their field.
