Site Engineer - XYZ Reality
XYZ Reality is seeking a dedicated Site Engineer to join our team on a long-term project in Fargo, ND. This on-site role involves utilizing cutting-edge Augmented Reality technology to support construction installations, conduct quality inspections, and generate progress reports.

Role Overview: Site / Surveying Engineer (Using Augmented Reality)
As a Site Engineer at XYZ Reality, you will leverage The Atom to identify and rectify construction and design errors, minimizing costly rework. You will visualize 3D BIM models as holograms, verify installations against design, and provide timely updates on potential clashes and issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily site inspections using The Atom (Augmented Reality headset) to verify correct installation as per BIM Model.
- Utilize a total station to set and traverse control points.
- Communicate with clients and provide regular progress reports.
- Produce detailed inspection reports.
- Attend coordination meetings with contractors to plan daily activities.
- Process and review acquired data for accuracy and reliability.
- Report to the Field Operations Manager, maintain an efficient workflow, and meet inspection deadlines.
- Collaborate with contractors to create a weekly inspection schedule aligned with the master construction program.
- Obtain and prepare the latest approved Revit models for export into HoloSite.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in a field engineer or surveying role, preferably with a total station or laser scanners.
- A qualification in construction, land surveying, civil engineering, geospatial, or geodetic engineering is preferred but not essential.
- Strong work ethic, ambition, and a keen interest in new technology.
- Knowledge of 3D software (Revit, Navisworks, etc.) or BIM/BIM360 is desirable but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must possess a clean criminal record and be willing to undergo background checks and drug tests due to project security requirements.
