Job Description
The Role of a Business Analyst
XPT Software Australia is seeking experienced Business Analysts for multiple permanent, full-time positions across Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane. This role requires at least 5 years of experience, ideally within the Banking or Insurance domains, to drive critical projects and deliver impactful solutions for our diverse clientele.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop formal user stories from functional and non-functional requirements.
- Proficiently decompose requirements into epics, features, and user stories.
- Create and groom product backlogs, ensuring continuous feature delivery.
- Collaborate with Project Owners on backlog management.
- Initiate and support Agile development within scrum multi-function teams.
- Lead sprint planning, solution design, estimation, and impact assessment.
- Forecast data migration and development effort using dashboards.
- Utilize JIRA for end-to-end project and team management, guiding team usage.
- Validate and redraft test cases for testing teams, ensuring comprehensive scenario coverage.
- Produce user and training documentation, and conduct formal training sessions.
- Work closely with UX specialists, developers, and testers for clarification.
- Define acceptance criteria in collaboration with the testing team.
- Manage defect tracking, reporting, triaging, and retesting processes.
