AI Engineer, Chatbot & Power BI Integration at XPT Software Australia
XPT Software Australia is seeking a highly skilled AI Engineer to design, build, and integrate conversational AI capabilities with the Power BI visual analytics platform. This role is crucial for enhancing our intelligent assistant features and enabling seamless data interaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and enhance intelligent assistants capable of accurately answering user queries.
- Integrate chatbot capabilities directly with Microsoft Power BI dashboards, semantic models, and reports.
- Enable intuitive conversational interactions with various REST APIs and embedded analytics solutions.
- Develop custom Power BI visuals that are fully integrated with chatbot interactions for a richer user experience.
- Design and continuously optimize prompts to ensure high accuracy and strong contextual awareness for the AI.
- Build and enhance context management mechanisms using metadata and advanced semantic models.
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of existing Large Language Models (LLMs) to improve efficiency and responsiveness.
Skills and Experience
We are looking for candidates with a robust background and specific expertise:
- 5-10 years of experience in AI Engineering, data engineering, and Power BI development.
- Strong experience with Power BI development, including advanced semantic modeling techniques.
- Proficiency in data modeling principles and practices.
- Solid understanding and experience with SQL and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience integrating with REST APIs.
- Proven track record in enterprise development with chatbot development, specifically using Azure OpenAI and OpenAI.
- Expertise in Large Language Models (LLM) such as Azure OpenAI and OpenAI.
- Proficiency in Business Intelligence (BI) tools, particularly MS Power BI.
- Experience with Power BI APIs and general REST API integration.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Experience with data platforms like SQL, Synapse, Snowflake, and Data Bricks.
- Familiarity with frameworks like Langchain.
- Knowledge of security protocols, including Azure AD and RBAC.
