About the DevOps / Platform Engineer Role at XpertDirect
XpertDirect is seeking a Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer to lead the scaling of infrastructure for its rapidly expanding AI SaaS platform. This is an initial 12-month contract position with a focus on cutting-edge AI infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design and manage robust cloud-native infrastructure using AWS/GCP.
- Build and optimize continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Manage and scale containerized environments with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Enhance observability, monitoring, and overall system reliability.
- Collaborate closely with backend and Machine Learning teams to integrate infrastructure solutions.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering roles.
- Proficiency with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
- Proven ability to automate CI/CD processes.
- Experience managing production-scale cloud systems.

- Previous experience supporting Machine Learning pipelines.
- Exposure to scaling infrastructure in a startup environment.
