About the Role: Junior Financial Products Analyst at XM

XM is seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Junior Financial Products Analyst to join its growing team in Nicosia. This vital role focuses on analyzing new financial product offerings and ensuring the competitiveness of XM's products. It provides an excellent opportunity to develop advanced technical and analytical skills within a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will be a results-oriented team player with exceptional attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform competitive analysis on all products and identify areas for potential improvements.
  • Produce high-quality reports regularly for new financial products.
  • Stay updated with market information and monitor trends across all instruments, with particular emphasis on news announcements, earnings releases, and corporate actions.
  • Ensure clients receive accurate and up-to-date market and pricing information.
  • Obtain pricing from various Liquidity Providers.
  • Monitor the functionality and performance of all trading systems and platforms.
  • Monitor spreads daily to maintain their competitiveness.
  • Monitor and manage costs associated with tradable instruments (swaps, commissions, spreads, etc.) to align with market standards.
  • Collaborate closely and effectively with other departments as required.

Main Requirements

  • BSc/MSc in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • CFA qualification or actively studying towards CFA is highly advantageous.
  • Previous experience in a similar position is considered an advantage.
  • Working knowledge of different trading platforms (MT4, MT5) is beneficial.
  • Any programming skills (e.g., Python) will be considered an asset.
  • Good knowledge of financial markets, particularly forex, equities, and futures.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel.
