About the Role
In the role of AI Tutor - Video Specialist, you will train and refine Grok's ability to interpret and generate video content with precision and technical depth.
Responsibilities
- Utilize proprietary software for labeling, annotations, and inputs on video projects.
- Deliver high-quality data capturing motion, timing, transitions, and visual effects.
- Work collaboratively within a remote and diverse team.
Required Qualifications
- Portfolio showcasing excellence in video editing, motion graphics, VFX, or compositing.
- Strong skills in editing, pacing, color grading, and narrative flow.
- Proficiency with tools such as Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, Nuke, or similar.
- Ability to critically analyze video sequences and articulate technical insights.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Location & Work Expectations
The role can be full-time, part-time, or contractual, and is performed remotely from any location worldwide. US candidates must note restrictions for Wyoming and Illinois. Initial training requires PST hours (9:00am - 5:30pm) for two weeks, then local time thereafter. Candidates must have a reliable smartphone and an approved computer system (Chromebook, Mac with MacOS 11.0+, or Windows 10+).
Compensation & Benefits
US based candidates: $45/hour - $75/hour based on experience. International compensation details are provided during recruitment. Eligible US candidates may receive benefits such as health insurance, a 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in compositing, rotoscoping, or motion tracking workflows.
- Familiarity with AI video generation tools like Grok Imagine, Runway, Kling, Sora, or Veo.
- Experience with 3D integration in video pipelines and scripting/automation in post-production (e.g., Python).
