WTWH Media Healthcare is seeking a highly motivated and experienced business reporter to join the Home Health Care News (HHCN) team. This role focuses on covering the rapidly evolving landscape of home-based care in the U.S., a significant trend in health care decentralization. As a Senior Health Care Business Reporter, you will be instrumental in monitoring the beat, cultivating key industry relationships, breaking news, and delivering exclusive, enterprising deep dives for HHCN's executive readership.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to report, write, and publish daily content.
• Assist the brand editor with newsletter production.
• Actively hunt for scoops and breaking news, maintaining a competitive edge.
• Conceptualize, research, write, and edit engaging content for industry executives.
• Develop and maintain strong industry sources for stories and event participation.
• Support the editorial team on special projects, including podcast production and event planning (FUTURE, Capital+Strategy Conference).
• Represent HHCN at industry conferences to network and establish contacts.
• Aid in content distribution via email campaigns and other channels.
• Embrace new technologies and a continuous learning mindset.

About Home Health Care News (HHCN)

HHCN is the leading source for news, insights, and analysis for executives in the home-based care industry. Our audience includes decision-makers from publicly traded and privately held companies, industry investors, payers, health system leaders, and technology partners. You will help shape coverage across Medicare-certified home health care, private-pay home care, Medicaid home- and community-based services (HCBS), hospital-at-home models, and related health care shifts.

Required Qualifications

• 2-6 years of reporting/editing experience is essential.
• Demonstrated strong research and writing skills.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Capacity to multitask, adapt to new assignments, and learn continuously.
• Desire to leverage new technology effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, or a related field.
• Previous B2B reporting experience.
• Familiarity with publishing tools like Wordpress, Mailchimp, and/or Airtable.
