Job Overview

WTWH Media Healthcare seeks a motivated, experienced business reporter to cover home-based care news and developments for Home Health Care News (HHCN), the leading source of news, insights and analysis for industry executives.

Role Description

In this role, you will monitor the beat, cultivate key relationships, chase stories, and collaborate with your team. You will cover areas including Medicare-certified home health care, private-pay home care, Medicaid home- and community-based services, hospital-at-home models, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members to report and publish copy daily
  • Assist with the newsletter and work with the brand editor
  • Chase scoops and break news before other outlets
  • Conceptualize, research, write, and edit content
  • Develop industry sources and support event planning
  • Contribute to podcast production and special projects
  • Attend industry conferences and assist with content distribution
  • Explore new technologies and continuously learn

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of reporting/editing experience
  • B2B experience is preferred
  • Strong research, writing, and communication skills
  • Experience with Wordpress, Mailchimp, and/or Airtable is a plus
