Flexible Benefits Administration Analyst at WTW

As a Flexible Benefits Administration Analyst within the Health & Benefits (H&B) division, you will be an integral part of a dedicated team. This role focuses on supporting our Asia Pacific clients by diligently monitoring and tracking submitted claims and reimbursements. Success in this position requires a keen eye for detail and exceptional data manipulation skills.

Exposure to or a background in the benefits brokerage or insurance administration sector is a prerequisite. Additionally, the role demands strong project management capabilities and excellent customer support and client management skills, crucial for effective client engagement and service delivery.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably from a program with a strong emphasis on mathematics or business.
  • Possess 1-2 years of relevant work experience, either within an insurance company or an outsourcing firm specializing in healthcare processes, such as claims processing or enrollment management.
  • Previous benefits or insurance-related experience is a significant advantage.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience with data entry, validation, and manipulation; advanced Excel skills are critical for this role.
  • Ability to meticulously review and cross-check data against subject domain knowledge (e.g., health and group benefits) to ascertain its applicability and accuracy for its designated purpose.
  • Strong proactive approach in asking pertinent questions and seeking assistance when necessary to ensure tasks are completed correctly.
  • A strong sense of accountability, taking ownership of one’s work and pride in its quality and completion.
  • Capability for effective collaboration within a global team, including responsibility for the quality and on-time delivery of personal assignments, and knowing when to involve other team members.
  • A structured approach to problem-solving and strong analytical thinking skills.
  • Exhibit a continuous improvement mindset, always seeking to enhance task efficiency and effectiveness with each product or service repetition.
  • Strong client service orientation, prioritizing client satisfaction and effective communication.
  • Excellent client relationship, interpersonal, and team collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in English is required, encompassing both good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work shift hours as required to support global operations.
