At WSP, we are driven by a passion to design and deliver sustainable, future‑ready solutions. Our Building Services team in Dubai is expanding, and we are seeking experienced professionals at the Principal / Associate level (12+ years) to lead mechanical design projects across the UAE.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of mechanical building services systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection) for complex projects.
• Oversee and coordinate multidisciplinary design teams, ensuring compliance with local codes, sustainability standards, and client requirements.
• Collaborate closely with architects, structural engineers, and electrical teams to provide integrated building services solutions.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and quality assurance processes.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers, fostering technical excellence and professional growth.
• Support business development activities, including client engagement, proposal preparation, and presentations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 12 years of experience in building services design, with at least 5 years in the UAE.
• Strong technical expertise in HVAC, chilled water, ventilation, and sustainable design practices.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and BIM tools.
• Chartered Engineer status (CIBSE, ASHRAE, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale projects in the Middle East Region.
