Job Description
Assistant Electrical Engineer
WSP in India is seeking a motivated Assistant Electrical Engineer to join their team.
Responsibilities
- Electrical design of power distribution, control, communication, lighting, fire alarm and security systems for Buildings.
- Technical calculations and software use for lighting analyses, load calculations.
- Conducting all tasks in cooperation with internal clients and other engineering disciplines.
- Managing and enhancing client relationships.
- Responsible for Revit and CAD standards, implementation, and enforcement.
- Agree priorities and deadlines for drawing production with GCC-coordinator.
- Provide quality control for completeness and adherence to company standards of all drawings produced.
- Produce work to specified WSP in Canada BIM standards and suggest revisions to standards as appropriate.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Electrical Engineering Degree
- Proficient with Dialux, AutoCAD, Revit and other electrical softwares
- Minimum Of 2-4 Years' Experience In Electrical Design.
- Ability to work with a minimum of instructions and complete tasks independently.
- Focus on electrical systems for buildings including power distribution, lighting, life safety and communications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with working knowledge of the Microsoft suite of programs.
- Must possess a team player attitude.
Background Verification (BGV)
Employment with WSP India is subject to the successful completion of a background verification (“BGV”) check conducted by a third-party agency appointed by WSP India. Candidates are advised to ensure that all information provided during the recruitment process — including documents uploaded — is accurate and complete, both to WSP India and its BGV partner.
