Job Description
Water Servicing Coordinator - NSW Water Utilities
WSP Australia’s Water Business Group is growing. We’re looking for an experienced Water Servicing Coordinator to join our NSW Water Utilities. Whether you’re already leading complex delivery or ready for the next step, you’ll find the support, flexibility, and runway to thrive.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own Section 73 lifecycle delivery—from application through to completion—ensuring regulatory requirements are met with zero surprises.
- Design Sydney Water assets across potable water, recycled water, wastewater, and stormwater systems—balancing hydraulics, constructability, and cost.
- Build trusted relationships with clients, Sydney Water teams, and internal stakeholders; be the connector who keeps information flowing.
- Mentor and guide your project team (if at a Senior level); foster a collaborative, growth-focused culture where technical excellence is the norm.
- Coordinate inspections and site visits as needed and keep project documentation audit-ready.
- Prepare and submit FIFM plans, bonding arrangements, and Sydney Water applications with confidence.
- Deliver reliably—on time, on budget, and in full compliance.
- Collaborate nationally and globally with WSP water professionals on Future Ready™ solutions.
About You
You’re a confident, collaborative professional who enjoys leading people and delivering community-minded infrastructure. You bring most of the following:
- Experience as a Water Servicing Coordinator or in a related project management role.
- Working knowledge of Sydney Water policies, WSAA codes, and regulatory procedures.
- Sydney Water category accreditations (FIFM, W1–W3, S1–S2, C1–C4) highly regarded.
- Comfortable with AutoCAD and MS Office (Word, Excel, Project).
- Strong communicator—equally at ease with clients, colleagues, and contractors.
- Leadership mindset—you take pride in mentoring others and contributing to a positive team culture.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferred, not essential).
Why Choose WSP?
- Competitive pay that recognizes your talent
- Inclusive culture that values diverse perspectives
- Clear career pathways with mentoring and development
- Flexible work options to balance life and work
- Purpose-driven projects that make a real impact
- Comprehensive benefits and support for returners
- Up to 16 weeks paid parental leave
- Option to buy up to 8 extra weeks of leave to support additional annual leave or school holiday leave
- Opportunities to work across Australia and globally
