Your impact starts here – In this role, you will contribute to evolving the cloud architecture that supports our teams across the country. You will participate in the design and implementation of solutions that enable WSP to deliver large-scale projects for the communities we serve.

Your Impact

  • Contribute to defining and maintaining enterprise-wide cloud architecture standards and design strategies.
  • Translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and cost-effective Azure cloud solutions.
  • Evaluate cloud technologies to ensure alignment with long-term business objectives and efficiency targets.
  • Guide digital/GTM solutions from development to production through strong governance and transition practices.
  • Lead or support the deployment of complex cloud solutions, providing hands-on support as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and managed partners to deliver standardized cloud services.
  • Produce architectural documentation, standards, policies, and operational transfer material.
  • Participate in architecture and change management governance forums to guide decisions.
  • Identify and implement automation and efficiency improvements aligned with enterprise automation frameworks.
  • Oversee cloud migration projects, from planning to optimization, ensuring seamless operational transition.

The Skills That Distinguish You

  • You have extensive experience with Azure cloud services, including Virtual Machines (VMs), App Services, SQL Database, AKS, Storage, Batch, and Container Apps environments.
  • You have a solid understanding of cloud architecture best practices, including high availability, scalability, security, and disaster recovery.
  • You are proficient in IaC and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Cloud-init, Azure CLI), scripting languages (Python, PowerShell), CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps workflows.
  • You understand cloud networking and have experience creating and managing Azure policies and architectures aligned with FinOps practices.
  • You excel at translating technical designs into high- and low-level documentation in multi-vendor cloud ecosystems.
  • You bring five to seven years of hands-on experience in cloud architecture within large enterprise environments and hold relevant Azure certifications.

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $107,800 – $144,900

MB & ON: $98,400 – $137,400

NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $97,400 – $131,200

The final salary assigned to this position may differ from the range indicated above depending on several factors, including education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, level of responsibility, geographical location, performance, and organizational needs.
