The Opportunity
Our Energy subsector, part of WSP’s ERI (Energy, Resources and Industry) sector, supports projects ranging from small installations to multi-phase integrated megaprojects in oil and gas and energy transition markets worldwide. Join WSP as an Intermediate Process Engineer in Alberta, Ontario, or Atlantic offices and use your skills to design facilities across Canada and globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct process simulations using software to optimize performance.
- Determine equipment sizes and prepare detailed data sheets.
- Perform process line calculations for flow rate, pressure drop, and temperature.
- Develop Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and update Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
- Participate in HAZOP studies and review vendor drawings.
- Support smaller projects or specific client assignments under senior guidance.
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of oil and gas process engineering experience, preferably in gas processing plants. Must hold P.Eng license with APEGA. Excellent teamwork, strong communication, organizational skills, and a focus on quality, schedule, and budget are essential.
