About The Role
In the role of Security Specialist GRC at WRITER, you will shape AI governance from the ground up. You will build and maintain security frameworks, lead audits including SOC 2 and ISO certifications, and translate regulatory requirements into effective security controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage security compliance programs including SOC 2 Type II and ISO certifications.
- Lead audit engagements and respond to enterprise customer security assessments.
- Create, update, and implement security policies and controls.
- Conduct risk assessments and third-party vendor security reviews.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate compliance into development lifecycle.
What You Need
- 2+ years in GRC, security compliance, or audit roles.
- Deep knowledge of security frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, and CCPA.
- Technical literacy in cloud and API security and access control.
- Strong project management and communication skills.
- Curiosity about AI governance and emerging regulatory landscapes.
