Role Summary And Impact
As a Paid Search Account Executive, you will be pivotal in executing paid search activities. Your responsibilities include:
- Conducting keyword research and campaign building.
- Collaborating with the Global Hub on daily governance and optimization.
- Performing in-depth data analysis.
- Ensuring accurate media plans and on-time billing and reconciliations.
You will develop extensive platform knowledge, working closely with senior team members to plan and execute a best-in-class Paid Search strategy. This role also involves continuously seeking new development opportunities in Paid Search and contributing to departmental training and events.
- Collaborate with and support team members, including the Global Hub, in executing effective paid search campaigns.
- Ensure adherence to the Wavemaker Way for Paid Search and contribute to product development.
- Utilize 3rd and 1st party tools and technology, such as Unlock and GroupM Automations Portal.
- Meet service level agreements by managing tasks through the project management suite.
- Contribute to client meetings and ongoing client engagement.
- Support day-to-day QA processes to minimize errors and ensure adherence to procedures.
- Prepare wider client or team deliverables, including actionable insight reports, maintaining quality output.
- Actively participate in the Paid Search community through internal meetings and GroupM training.
Performance
You will be responsible for effectively managing and optimizing paid search campaigns, consistently looking for performance improvement opportunities. Key performance aspects include:
- Working with line managers to execute a best-in-class Paid Search strategy aligned with the Wavemaker Way.
- Carrying out performance analysis, internal data maintenance, issue identification, and implementation.
- Conducting daily campaign and budget management checks.
- Collaborating with the Global Hub for daily diagnostics and governance.
- Spotting trends and patterns in data, addressing alerts and anomalies proactively.
- Effectively communicating with line managers, client teams, and clients regarding deadlines and delivery.
- Embracing a 'fearless growth' mindset, continually experimenting to drive client performance.
Measures for success include no account errors, accounts always online, improved performance, timely task completion, positive client feedback, effective communication, and progress against the WM Search Maturity Framework.
