About the Role

The Senior Manager Technical Sales Enablement at Wowza Media Systems will build the enablement function from 0 to 1, owning an enterprise-grade Sales Kick-Off (SKO) within ~90 days. This role sets the methodology, certification, content standards, and performance measurements for selling a complex infrastructure platform. Reporting directly to the VP of Marketing, you will work with executives and domain experts in Product, Product Marketing, and Architecture. Initially a hands-on contributor with budget and vendor management, the role offers potential for team expansion as the program scales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build the sales enablement function, including operating cadence and curriculum.
  • Lead the SKO in partnership with VP of Marketing and Sales Operations.
  • Define and adapt sales methodologies like MEDDICC, Command, or Challenger.
  • Create technical storytelling content including demo flows and proof kits.
  • Establish a field coaching loop with weekly reviews and clinics.
  • Offer strategic deal support and codify best practices.
  • Measure success through pipeline velocity, win rate, and ramp time improvements.

Success is measured by enablement integration into core pipeline rhythms, improved win rates and ramp times, and a unified value story in demos and client interactions.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in sales enablement.
  • Background in solutions/product marketing and B2B infrastructure/SaaS selling to technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience building a function from scratch in a complex revenue environment.
  • Proficiency in crafting and adapting sales methodologies.
  • Technical fluency in streaming, networking, and security.
  • Experience developing enablement tools such as ROI models, demo scripts, and competitive frameworks.
  • Strong coaching skills with an outcome-oriented approach.
