The Opportunity: Process Engineer Level II
We are actively seeking a Process Engineer Level II to join our team of world-class experts and dynamic go-getters. This is a full-time position, available at our offices in Calgary, Alberta, or Edmonton, Alberta.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality process engineering services in compliance with Worley, customer, and all applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Perform comprehensive process engineering services, including:
- Identifying and reporting any changes to project scope.
- Assisting in the preparation of proposals, estimates, budgets, and schedules.
- Providing crucial assistance during procurement, construction, and commissioning phases, such as writing requisitions, conducting technical bid evaluations, and drafting purchase orders.
- Contributing to relevant studies, analyses, and recommending effective actions.
- Supporting the preparation of detailed designs, drawings, specifications, data, calculations, and reports.
- Stay current with the latest developments and technical innovations within the process engineering field.
- Where required, provide assistance and support to junior personnel within the process engineering team.
- Maintain effective communication with the process engineering team and all project stakeholders, including the Customer.
- Proactively identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and seek assistance when necessary.
Technical And Industry Experience
- Demonstrated effective technical and practical engineering skills, with a consistent ability to deliver quality, accurate, and timely work to Worley and its customers.
- A strong working knowledge of the fundamental requirements of process engineering and the basic requirements of other engineering disciplines.
- A thorough understanding of applicable local and international standards, along with statutory and regulatory specifications.
- Proficient use of process engineering-specific software and relevant applications such as MS Office Suite.
- Proven engineering experience within the oil & gas industry.
Required Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training
- A recognized and relevant engineering degree.
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng) status.
