What You Will Do
The Senior Privacy Officer is responsible for supporting Worldwide’s Data Privacy Program and serves as a subject matter expert in data privacy/data protection as applied to GxP processing activities and co-regulatory frameworks. The Senior Privacy Officer reports to the Director, Global Data Privacy.
- Facilitate the administration of the organization’s privacy program and oversee related documentation.
- Support responses to data subject requests—including access, deletion, and correction—as required under relevant privacy legislation.
- Assist in maintaining privacy notices, policies, and procedural documents.
- Conduct preliminary evaluations of Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) and vendor privacy questionnaires.
- Monitor adherence to data protection laws such as GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, HIPAA, among others, as applicable.
- Contribute to privacy training programs and awareness campaigns.
- Aid in tracking privacy incidents and drafting breach response documentation.
- Collaborate effectively with legal, IT, security, HR, and compliance teams regarding privacy matters.
What You Bring To The Role
- Demonstrated experience in privacy, compliance, legal operations, risk management, or related disciplines.
- Foundational knowledge of data protection principles and privacy regulations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in handling sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Your Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in privacy, data protection, compliance, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience working with privacy requirements.
- Proven experience with privacy program implementation, assessments, and compliance activities.
