About the Role
Join Worldpay as a .NET Software Engineer II, a mid-level role in our WPAP team. Write well-structured, maintainable, and reliable code while developing unit tests and system requirements from business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce high quality, maintainable code
- Develop unit tests and ensure extensive coverage
- Convert business requirements into technical specifications
- Suggest and implement improvements in best practices
- Assist QA Engineers and Support Teams
- Participate in Agile meetings and track progress
Requirements & Skills
- 4-5+ years of software development experience
- Strong C# and .NET Core knowledge
- Experience with Restful services and Microsoft SQL Server
- Understanding of Unit Testing, Continuous Integration/Delivery, SOLID Principles
- Knowledge of object-oriented and enterprise-scale database design
- Familiarity with web application security
- Bonus: Kubernetes, Micro Service Architecture, Docker, DevOps, Jenkins, Cloud AWS, Design Patterns, Message Queues
