General Qualifications
This role requires 7 years of experience across multiple IT, Enterprise, and Service Provider technology areas including Data Center, Networking, Security, and Cloud, with 5+ years in a Pre-Sales capacity. Experience with MSO and/or Satellite companies is highly desired along with a strong background in architecture, engineering, or operations in data center, storage, server, backup, and virtualization. The candidate must be conversant with private, public, and hybrid cloud environments, cloud-native applications, automation, and orchestration tools. OEM certifications and hands-on experience with leading vendors such as Cisco, Dell/EMC, HPE, NetApp, and Hitachi are highly regarded.
Excellent communication, customer service, and presentation skills are essential, along with the ability to build meaningful relationships in a complex matrix organization. A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience and willingness to travel are required.

Base salary range is estimated at $200,000-225,000 plus commissions, with additional variable incentive possibilities.

Role Overview
As a Consulting Systems Engineer Global Service Provider, you will partner with Client Executives to lead technical pre-sales consulting, design, and sales initiatives for key satellite and MSO service provider accounts. You will drive technical discovery, solutioning, custom design work, and present workshops/demos using advanced technology resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Align with the WWT Sales team to showcase products and services.
- Lead technical discovery, solution creation, and proposal development.
- Develop customer-centric solutions to address business challenges.
- Build relationships with key customer stakeholders and strategic OEM partners.
- Deliver impactful briefings, demos, and workshops using advanced technology resources.
- Coordinate with service teams to ensure quality execution of deliverables.
- Continuously expand technical expertise through certifications and training.
