Construction Logistics Coordinator
World Wide Professional Solutions is seeking a Construction Logistics Coordinator to support a major semiconductor construction project in the Northwest Phoenix, Arizona area. This is a field-facing role supporting dock scheduling, material movement, construction delivery coordination, trade access, equipment staging, and daily logistics planning within a high-density construction environment. The successful candidate will be highly organized, technically capable, safety-focused, and comfortable working directly with construction managers, trade contractors, vendors, client representatives, and field teams. This role is best suited for someone with construction site logistics, field coordination, material movement, dock coordination, or large-scale industrial construction experience. Candidates local to the Phoenix, AZ area are highly preferred.Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily dock schedules, construction deliveries, material movement, and site logistics activities with the onsite construction team.
- Plan, organize, and communicate dock activity from initial request through scheduled arrival and field execution.
- Support construction teams with delivery sequencing, staging coordination, material movement, and access planning.
- Communicate dock status, delivery changes, schedule impacts, and logistics constraints to client management, internal stakeholders, trade contractors, and vendors.
- Maintain accurate dock schedules, delivery trackers, logistics reports, and weekly work plans using Excel and other scheduling or tracking tools.
- Prepare dock reports and weekly logistics plans for communication to construction teams and project leadership.
- Assist with coordination of warehousing, staging, and inventory activity in support of construction execution.
- Facilitate and attend meetings related to dock planning, construction logistics, material movement, and field coordination.
- Maintain productive working relationships with construction coordinators, construction managers, client representatives, trade labor, vendors, and internal project teams.
- Support craft productivity by helping reduce delivery conflicts, access issues, staging delays, and material movement constraints.
- Work safely in an active construction environment and follow all project safety requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting construction logistics, field coordination, dock scheduling, material movement, delivery coordination, or trade coordination on an active construction site.
- Experience working with construction managers, trade contractors, vendors, field supervision, project teams, or client representatives.
- Ability to coordinate daily delivery schedules, dock activity, staging areas, access constraints, and work plans in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to maintain trackers, schedules, reports, and weekly logistics plans.
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn project tracking or scheduling tools.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across multiple teams and levels of the project.
- Strong listening, comprehension, organization, and follow-through skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining alignment with project leadership and field teams.
- Ability to walk at an active construction site for most of the day.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting a large-scale construction project.
- Experience in semiconductor fab construction, cleanroom construction, tool install, advanced manufacturing, data center, mission critical, industrial, or high-tech facility construction.
- Experience coordinating construction deliveries, material laydown, equipment staging, dock access, trade logistics, or site movement plans.
- Familiarity with construction sequencing, trade coordination, field constraints, and high density project environments.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
Education
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree in Construction Management or equivalent work experience preferred.
Physical Demands
