About the Role
With 75 years of experience, World Vision focuses on helping the most vulnerable children overcome poverty and live a full life. As Global Advisor Development and Capacity you support the implementation and delivery of Security Safety and Resilience (SSR) learning, capacity building, and professional development strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Safety & Security Training Development and Delivery: Collaborate with the Security Group to identify training needs, skills gaps, and key learning outcomes for high-risk environments. Deliver and help develop a blended security training program using face-to-face, e-learning, and mobile learning solutions.
SSR Functional Training Development: Assist the Director DevCap in creating learning strategies with regional functional leads, driving innovative design and delivery to meet training measurement goals.
SSR Capacity Development: Support the development of coaching, mentoring, and career development practices for Regional SSR staff by collaborating with Regional IST and the Director DevCap.
Regional/Security Group Operation Support: Provide operational support for Regional IST and/or Security Group deployments as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
A minimum of an Associate or Bachelor Degree in relevant fields such as Education, Professional Education, Training, HR, Organizational Development, Security Management, and related areas, or equivalent industry experience is required. Ability and willingness to travel internationally up to 33% including potential travel to high-risk areas is necessary. Proficiency in written and verbal English is required, with additional language skills (French, Spanish) considered an asset.
