Job Overview

The Intern - Partnerships, Nairobi will support the Partnerships Unit at the World Food Programme, assisting in partnership coordination, donor research, and knowledge management. This internship offers recent graduates practical experience in humanitarian work and information management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partnerships Support: Maintain partnership mapping, prepare briefs, and coordinate meetings.
  • Donor and Partner Research: Conduct desk-based research and compile profiles for engagement.
  • OIM and Knowledge Management: Organize and update partner and donor information on the knowledge platform.

Expected Outcomes

  • Updated and organized partnership data.
  • Drafted briefs and profiles to aid decision-making.
  • Systematically archived documents for improved institutional memory.

Qualifications and Duration

A recent graduate with a degree in International Relations, Development Studies, Political Science, Information Management, or related field, proficient in Microsoft Office and fluent in English. This is a six-month internship offered in both Nairobi and select field office locations.
