Role Overview
As the Manager, Customer Marketing for ShareGate, you will drive customer lifecycle programs, deepen customer relationships, fuel expansion, and transform satisfied users into brand advocates. You will manage the complete lifecycle from onboarding to advocacy, ensuring every initiative supports retention and growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead customer lifecycle marketing programs (onboarding, adoption, renewal, upsell, cross-sell).
- Partner with Account Management to design campaigns driving expansion, renewal, and revenue growth.
- Build and scale customer advocacy programs including reviews, case studies, and community engagement.
- Create engaging customer communications via email, in-product messaging, webinars, and events.
- Utilize product usage data and customer feedback to optimize campaigns.
- Manage and mentor a small team focused on lifecycle and advocacy initiatives.
Weekly Activities
Analyze campaign performance and customer health metrics, launch new lifecycle campaigns in HubSpot, and partner with Sales and Account Management on renewal or upsell opportunities. Collaborate with Content and Creative teams to produce advocacy assets and report results to leadership.
Team Environment
You will join ShareGate’s Marketing team and report to the Director of Marketing & Growth. This small, agile team works closely with Account Management, Sales, and Product Marketing to drive customer success and long-term growth.
Future Challenges
Scale lifecycle campaigns aligned with new packaging tiers (Essentials, Pro, Enterprise), design targeted upsell and cross-sell programs, amplify customer advocacy, and establish repeatable customer marketing processes for ambitious growth plans.
Qualifications
- B2B SaaS customer marketing experience.
- Strong lifecycle marketing track record (onboarding, adoption, renewal).
- Experience with upsell, cross-sell, and revenue expansion strategies.
- Background in customer advocacy and community building.
- Expertise in email marketing, nurture design, and marketing automation (HubSpot preferred).
- Analytical mindset with data-driven decision making.
- Proven ability to manage and develop marketing professionals.
