Job Overview

The Assistant Project Manager role at WorkBetterNow is for experienced individuals with at least 2 years of project management experience. This position is remote, requires advanced English proficiency (C1/C2), and involves working as an independent contractor for 40 hours a week during US business hours.

Responsibilities

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables with stakeholders
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and track progress against KPIs
  • Assign tasks to team members and coordinate project resources
  • Monitor risks, issues and implement mitigation strategies
  • Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders and senior management
  • Manage project budgets and track financial adherence

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of project management experience
  • Advanced English skills, both written and spoken
  • Experience with project management tools (ASANA, Trello, Monday.com, etc.)
  • Administrative experience and Microsoft 365 proficiency
  • Experience in social media is a plus
  • A suitable work-from-home environment

Technical Requirements

  • Processor: Intel 11th Gen or equivalent AMD Ryzen 5000 series / M2 for Mac
  • RAM: Minimum 16 GB
  • Internet Speed: 25 - 50 Mbps

Benefits & Compensation

  • Starting salary: $1,125 USD/month
  • Monthly Wellness Bonus after 3 months: additional $50 USD/month
  • Salary increase to $1,300 USD/month after 1 year and $1,350 USD/month after 2 years
  • Annual company-wide compensation adjustments
  • 18 paid vacation days plus U.S. federal holidays
  • Paid maternity/paternity leave (after 1 year, up to 2 months with 50% salary coverage)
